Ashley Williams (Mass Effect)

Ashley Williams is a gunnery chief of the Alliance Navy in the 2007 science fiction video game Mass Effect and the 2010 sequel, Mass Effect 2. Ashley is a selectable squad member in the first game, but not that second. Commander Shepard (the player) first encounters Ashley Williams during the geth assault on the human colony of Eden Prime. Background
Service in the Alliance Navy runs in Ashley Williams family. Her great-grandmother, grandfather and father all enlisted to make a name for the family. Ashley's grandfather was a decorated officer, until he was forced to surrender to a turian siege during the First Contact War. His defeat was not taken lightly. She continued serving the Alliance until she was caught in the geth attack on the colony of Eden Prime.
